Things to do

Sports
The sports enthusiast will find a host of activities available on the island. Golf, tennis, cricket, horse racing and polo are all part of island life.
For those who like their sport on or under water, the beautiful beaches are ideal for sailing, water-skiing, snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, or taking a boat trip to swim with the turtles!
Bars and Nightlife
Club Extreme is currently the trendiest (and probably the loudest) of places to experience Barbados’s late night scene.
Harbour Lights is an extremely popular beach front club with top live entertainment. Locals and visitors frequent the club which offers dancing both indoors and under the stars. The only nightspot where beachwear is acceptable!
The Coach House is ideal for popping in for drinks, lunch or just to enjoy satellite sports. This way you won’t lose track of what’s happening to your favourite team back home!
Dining Out
Whether you want formal or informal dining there are a host of restaurants and cafes to meet your needs. Here are some of our favourites!

Shopping
Although Bridgetown is the island’s largest shopping area — the West Coast is undoubtedly the best place to shop whilst holidaying in Barbados.
Ten minutes walk from No:5 is the lively modern area of Holetown — which has a legion of shopping opportunities.
The West Coast Mall in Holetown is bright and very modern and includes an excellent range of tax-free stores, including Diamonds International, Cave Sheppard department store, an internet café, banking facilities, several boutiques and an excellent Super Centre Supermarket.
A few yards away is the beautiful Chattel Village. A colourful cluster of fascinating chattel house shops selling everything from T-Shirts to swim-wear and locally made cigars. The world famous Best of Barbados Shop specialises in gifts made or designed on the island. There is even a tiny wine bar for when all that shopping becomes too much!
If all that is not enough, the Cave Sheppard Plaza is an alternative shopping option. Situated a few minutes from the Chattel Village opposite the Almond Beach Club.
